2013 Eastfork State Park – Sept 29 |
The Southwest Screamer at Eastfork State Park
Officially Rescheduled for September 29
You can also find information on the OMBC Facebook page and Eastfork trail info.
Race Description:
The EASTFORK Race Course: Not far from Cincinnati, The Cincinnati Off Road Alliance has built an amazing trail system at East Fork, the crown jewel of CORA. The eight+ miles of singletrack start amazingly fast and get more technical as the miles tick by.
Park Directions: Follow park signage toward beach then follow "RACE Parking" signs to Park Road three. You can park along the right side of the road or in one of two parking lots between there and registration. No parking on the left side of Park Road Three. The race will be routed along that side. Please take note of the race signs. IF you disregard this notice and park on the left side of Park Road Three where the race signs are located, you will be asked to move before the race will begin. This is a safety issue.
Parking is also available directly across from Park Road Three at the Indian Mound Parking lot. That is also the location of the only two primitive portalets.
Do not pass "NO RACE PARKING" signs or park anywhere past those signs. Registration and Race Finish will be there. All Spaces will be needed for volunteers and food vendor. This is also a safety issue.
RACE START will begin at Look Out Point, a dead end located at the end of Park Road Three. Racers will come up the hill from Look Out Point, pass through the Finish line, and begin loops from there. Race Meeting will take place there at 11:50am. RACE BEGINS AT NOON
Rider's Meeting will take place there at 11:50am. RACE BEGINS AT NOON
