33rd Annual Mohican Trail Run 

NEW RACE DATE: June 4-5, 2022, packet pickup on Friday June 3 

Due to the incredible growth and popularity of the Mohican Trail Run, we need to move our race date up by two weeks to avoid Fathers Day Weekend. Our race alone brings about 2000 people to a town of 2600 on what has become a holiday weekend. For the last few years, we have made small adjustments to allow for more parking, including limiting the size of the race, moving the start of the race a mile away from the finish to add parking, and moving the Marathon Run from a more typical morning start to a noon start. By moving our date to a less busy weekend, we will be able to offer runners the following advantages. 

1. Increased racer limit
2. Start and Finish in the same location
3. Morning race start for the Marathon Run
4. Ample parking near the start/finish
5. Greater availability of camping/cabins on site at Mohican Adventures

21st Annual Mohican Mountain Bike 100

NEW RACE DATE: 2022 Race on Saturday, May 21 at 7AM 

Due to the incredible growth and popularity of the Mohican Mountain Bike 100 and the Mohican Trail Run, we need to move our race dates to less busy weekends for our community. The Mohican Trail Run alone brings about 2000 people to a town of 2600 on what has now become a holiday weekend. For the last few years, we have made small adjustments to allow for more parking, including limiting the size of the races.  By moving the Mountain Bike race up two weeks to the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend, we will have the following advantages. 

1. Likely Return to our traditional downtown race start
2. Greater availability of parking near the race finish
3. Greater availability of camping/cabins at Mohican Adventures
4. Potentially cooler temperatures given the last few years have been hotter than usual

A new course map and elevation chart for the Mohican MTB100 will be available soon. We have all necessary permits and permissions with the exception of Mohican State Park but are hopeful that there will be some good news on that front later this week. Once confirmed, we will send course GPS and other necessary information to registered racers. Please do not contact the race director for this information. No information will be provided that is not first provided publicly to all registered racers.
