VULTURES KNOB

Race Description: Vultures Knob is 125 acres along the majestic and mighty Killbuck River in the rolling hills of Wooster Ohio. The facilities are open 365 days a year for open riding via donations or memberships! This venue offers a glimpse into the past with old school fall line trails mixed with newer design concepts and features. The trails offer up some of the most challenging singletrack and most unique man made outdoor trail features the area has to offer. Over 110 races have been run at the Knob including epic 12 hour and 24 hour races, cyclocross, adventure races along with the popular annual cross-country race series.

Entry Fee: All Divisions online registration just $40, Due to Covid there will be No Race Day Registration,

Novice Youth 12-14 and 8-11 just $20 for online registration.  

Timing Anklet Fee: All racers will be required to purchase a timing anklet that is good for the entire season. There is a one-time fee of $6. Once you have a timing anklet, you will be required to enter the anklet number for each race when you register online.   

Race Plates: $5 refundable fee; If you already have an OMBC race plate, you will be asked to enter the number on bikereg 

Great Lakes Brews are included with your entry: At least for those over 21 (;

Registration Limit: 200

Date/Time: Sunday, October 2 at HIGH NOON 

FREE Kids 10 and under race begins at 11am, kids must be registered online. Kids race course is less than one mile with little climbing or technical features. Age Categories include 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10

WARNING: Please use CAUTION driving the entrance road into the park. Think singletrack - but for cars and trucks. Slow down, please. 

Race Distance: Each lap is roughly 7 miles

Novice- one lap

Sport- two laps

Pro/Expert- three laps

NEW: Pedal Assist only E-Bike Class - three laps 

Awards:

New Ebike Class for bragging rights only, no points will be issued. 

Expert and Sport divisions will be awarded cash according to the OMBC PAYOUT SCHEDULE
Prize table awards for Novice Divisions: The top third of Novice division racers will receive prize table awards.
